Continued from article Chapter#39.
There is still one topic in this section that has not been discussed:
4. Why didn't Li Baoyan be a deity? Or reincarnation as a person continues to be deeply regarded as a famous doctor? Why he has to stayed in the "ghost world"?
In fact, according to the author's descriptions: Li Baoyan had been using the title as “Bao-Shen Emperor" to believers for disease curing. Therefore, he was a "Deity" (or pretending to be a deity);
You can look at Guan Yu, Lin Mo Niang, and Wu Ben------- These were all people but after death -- they are worshipped and become "deities". Coupled with political factors, some emperors also repeatedly awarded the title: such as sealing the "Mazu" from "Heaven Lady" to "Heaven Queen" (what happened to the original wife of the Jade Emperor--she was divorced)? And Guan Yu all the way was sealed as "Wu Sheng" (Martial Saint)?
If "Li Baoyan" has the skill or fame like "Wu Ben", he should also be sealed after the death as "Life Saving Emperor" and " Great Emperor for living beings Protection “. However, apparently he did not report to the spiritual world. There was no reincarnation for him and stayed in the world as a "ghost" of wandering around. Since he was very cherished for his medical skills and still had the will of "saving the life" so he pretended to be "Baosheng Emperor". In the temple so could help believers to cure the diseases.
As for why he had to stay in the world and refused to report to the spiritual world? I would assume he may have no knowledge about spiritual world and the reincarnation mechanism, and might even had some misunderstandings?
After death, the human consciousness can continue to exist in another life form as "soul" then if he found that he must report to the spiritual world. Once he found out he can neither go to the heavens (do not emphasize the inevitability of the heavens) to be sealed as Medical deity, nor does not want being arrested by black/white impermanence for going to hell to be judged and guilty-----
Basically, he was a free soul and there was no difference between what he saw and her before his death. But what if he should report to the spiritual world like most dead souls but unfortunately he had no idea at all? ? ?
He may realize that once he had gone to the spiritual world, he can no longer return to the Yang space and he might need to reincarnate again. Once he reincarnated, newborns would forget all the knowledge of past lives memories. In this way, he think it might ruin all the past painstakingly studying medicine. Therefore, he should be quite unwilling and rather be a "run away" in the spiritual world; he must voluntarily stay in the world to continue to display his will and save the people.
As to whether he was really a Ming Dynasty person? This is hard to judge! Maybe it was! Maybe he was a member of the Qing Dynasty, perhaps after the Republic of China; however, this issue has no crucial impact;
Perhaps his original medical practice was so "ordinary" but could not give up because of the reluctance of medical knowledge before his death, or he was really fascinated by medical skills, or he saw that there was a deity in the temple of "Baosheng Emperor" in his life to help the believers. After the disease was prescribed, it was discovered that the original "Baosheng Emperor" was not the deity, but also the ghost of the cottage version, so he follows the steps to pretend it to be the next "Baosheng Emperor".---------
As for the fact that he will ask for help from Sofia, it is only the basic skill of the death soul. You can use the "visible scene" way to give dreams to specific people. Especially, Sofia has a "clear channel" to communicate with ghosts via dream.
However, his medical skills and acupuncture were used to treat peopleand not to treat ghosts. It is natural that for ghosts have no flesh so there will be no internal organ and limb so no meridian point, so they do not need acupuncture?
Therefore, no matter how many times he has been wandering in the name of "Baosheng Emperor", no matter how long it has passed, he should have accumulated the clinical experience in medical pharmacology. Some of his assistants should be the localities and gradually formed a "spiritual medical group."
Two uncertain points are as follows,:
1. Did he have some "misdiagnosed" incidents during his lifetime which made him very annoyed so he had to make up after death and wanted to redeem his sins; then he volunteered to stay in Yang world for a long time to save the world?
2. Was he sort kind of "accumulation merit" prayer and he was reluctant to reincarnate? Or he thinks that staying in the yang world will save more people and accumulate more merits then no need for reincarnation and even achieved the eternal life?
? ? ?
This article has come to an end here.
Other related issues will be discussed separately in specific article!
